Sacred Chant Mentorships are customized to meet your unique learning needs. In this one-on-one setting we can see exactly what you're doing and offer real time feedback that's incredibly helpful.

We tailor the sequencing of songs and content of the sessions to meet your needs.

For students at a more advanced level, we begin with more complex and advanced chants and keep you right at your learning edge. Advanced topics we can address in a mentorship include chant writing, sharing Kirtan publicly, assembling a band, and much more. 

Yes, we have many students who have engaged in ongoing mentorship over many years.

The content of Sacred Chant Mentorships is flexible, and can easily address the ongoing learning needs of beginning, experienced, advanced and professional level Kirtan practitioners.

You will be delighted to hear that you do NOT have to learn Sargam (Indian Classical Music) or Western Music to learn how to play/sing chants from your favorite Western Kirtan Artists like Krishna Das and Snatam Kaur. We have a super user friendly learning system that is intuitive and makes learning obvious and easy!

Students are constantly amazed at the level of ease that they experience using our learning system which is expressed in our chant sheets.

These chants come in several different styles including Sanskrit, Kundalini Yoga, Mashups, Vedic, Goddess chants, as well as Healing and Ceremony songs.

In a Sacred Chant Mentorship you start by choosing several dozen chants you want to learn from this list. We will "sequence" these chants so that you never feel in over your head musically and can learn in the most optimal and easeful way.

** You will not receive chant sheets for all 200 songs. Rather, you will choose several dozen songs you long to learn from the list. We will then sequence them so you can learn them in an optimal way.

For each mentorship with Mike, you can request up to 2 songs to be written up in our user friendly chant sheet style. For each mentorship with Michele, you can request 1 song to be written up.

In your Sacred Chant Mentorship you can choose to access all of the teachings we present in our 6 month long Level 3.5 Chant Writing Class (learn more here) which works with chords, melodies, lyrics and much more. 

Over the years, we have taught many dozens of students to write their own chants, several dozen of whom have gone on to record the original chants we supported them in creating! You can listen to their songs on Spotify HERE.

Once you have completed your purchase, Mike or Michele will reach out to schedule your first session. At the end of each session, you will schedule your next one.

Beginning students are advised to start with weekly sessions and gradually move on to bi-monthly sessions. Advanced students can pace their sessions as they wish.  

That said, we recommend pace of two sessions per month.
